The storm that hit the Marmara region in northwestern Turkey on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 November left five dead and 63 injured, the Turkish Minister of Health announced on Tuesday evening.

Winds reaching 130 km / h had uprooted trees on Monday, blown roofs and caused the collapse of minarets and clock towers in several cities in the Marmara region, including Istanbul.
