Two earthquakes measuring 4.5 and 4.1 on the Richter scale hit the town of Zarin Rud, near the city of Khadabandeh, Zanjan Province, northwest Iran.
The National Seismological Center of Tehran University reported that the two tremors occurred today in the outskirts of the city of Zarin Rud, adjacent to the provinces of Qazvin and Hamadan, in the west of the country.
The director of the emergency center in Zanjan province, Safi Allah Karamati, called on the people of Zarin Road not to stay in their homes at night, in anticipation of the repercussions of the two tremors, pointing out that there have been no reports so far about the losses resulting from these two tremors.
An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck this morning, Kerman Province, southeast of Iran.
