General Baduel (66 years old) died in excruciating suffering on October 12, 2021, in a cell in the Hélicoïde, an avant-garde concrete building built in the 1950s. This building was to be the pride of the people. Venezuelans, as the largest and most modern shopping center in Latin America.
It became, under the Chavist regime, a place of detention and torture for political prisoners managed by Disip, the intelligence services of the Venezuelan government.
