On two days in Poing, two elementary school students were approached suspiciously by a stranger.

Both times it was believed to be the same man.

Poing - The Poingen police received two reports about a man who allegedly spoke to a primary school student suspiciously on Monday and Tuesday.

Incident 1 occurred on Monday at around 11.25 a.m. on the corner of Anzinger Strasse and Schulstrasse in Poing-Süd (not far from the primary school there).

At the level of the pedestrian lights, a man asked an eight-year-old girl in broken German: “How was school?”.

Poing: Both incidents near the elementary school

Incident number 2 was on Tuesday afternoon, around 4 p.m. in the main street / corner of Endbachweg (also not far from the primary school).

According to the police, a seven-year-old elementary school student was approached by a stranger on her way home after lunchtime care, who wanted to know her name and where she lived.

In both cases, the girls reacted correctly and ran away, reports Helmut Hintereder, head of the Poing police station.

In either case, the man did not pursue them.

Poing: There are descriptions of people

Both girls gave the same personal description, which is why it can be assumed that they are one and the same man: about 165 to 170 centimeters tall, dark skin color;

dark, curly, shoulder-length hair;

he wore black clothing and had a black backpack with him.

On Tuesday he wore black sunglasses.

“Due to the fact that the stranger approached the children on busy public roads and he also did not try to detain or pursue the children, criminal intentions are rather unlikely, but the police are of course interested in investigating the facts to clarify exactly ", writes police chief Hintereder in the press report.

Witnesses who observed one of the incidents or who can provide information about the stranger are asked to report to the Poing Police, Tel. (08121) 9917-0.

The Poingen police are also looking for witnesses in the case of traffic hooligans on the market square.

There a stranger drove an Audi into a passerby.
