Alaa Al-Nayef recorded a distinguished presence in the sport of bodybuilding and physical strength at the local and international levels due to his high technical level and the remarkable results he achieved in the tournaments he fought during his sports career.
In a statement to SANA, the 38-year-old Al-Nayef said: “I started my sports career in building bodies and physical strength in the youth category, and I won the first place in the Youth Championship for the weight of 70 kg in 1998. I also won five gold medals in the republic and governorate championships for men in bodybuilding with a weight of 85 kg and 90 kg. kg for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009.
In 2012, Al-Naif won the fourth place in the 90-kg weight competition in the Asian Championship, which was held in Kazakhstan with the participation of 64 countries, and in 2019 he won the fifth place in the Asian Championship held in China, and in the same year he won the first place in the Beach Master Championship held in Lattakia.
As for the current year, Al-Nayef said that he won the third place in the Asian Championship with a weight of 85 kg in Lebanon, in addition to gold in the Republic Championship for the first degree, indicating that he conducted several training camps in Aleppo with the aim of developing his level.
Al-Nayef concluded: "Preparations have begun to participate in the upcoming foreign championships. My ambition is to compete strongly internationally, win the first places, and raise the nation's flag high in international forums."
