The World Health Organization has warned that the world is facing a toxic mixture due to insufficient vaccination against Covid-19, which constitutes a suitable ground for the emergence of new mutant.
AFP quoted WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as saying, "We have a toxic mixture of poor vaccine coverage and low levels of testing, which is very suitable for the proliferation of mutants," noting that the end of the epidemic is not a matter of luck but a matter of choice.
The World Health Organization had previously warned of the possibility of a severe shortage of medical syringes, amounting to two billion in the next year 2022, as a result of immunization campaigns against the Corona virus.
