Nir Hefetz, a state witness in the Alps cases, continues to testify today (Wednesday) as part of the cross-examination in the Jerusalem District Court.

Yesterday, his testimony was renewed about his part in the 2000 case, the Netanyahu-Mozes affair.

Yesterday, at the beginning of the cross-examination, Adv. Amir Tabenkin, who is investigating Hefetz on behalf of the prosecution in the 4000 case, asked to conduct the cross-examination regarding the private matters of Hefetz who are under a restraining order - Adv. Boaz Ben Tzur representing defendant number 1 In the case of Benjamin Netanyahu, he objected to the request.

After consultation, the judges rejected the prosecution's request, but made it clear that they would consider closing parts of the hearing.



Hefetz spoke yesterday about the difficulties he went through in his interrogation and the pressure that was exerted on him to sign the right to a state witness.

Hefetz said that "at that time I fully understood that they wanted to dig into the materials to put pressure on the investigation, since I said that I left the discretion to my lawyer. I did what he told me. If it was up to me I would not sign and give everything.



Hefetz described Because he was interrogated by dozens of interrogators, more than 30 interrogators in his estimation. "There were attempts to replace my lawyer."
