The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection is taking logistical and technical measures in preparation for a new cycle of selling the allocated materials via the electronic card, whether the materials included in the subsidized price or the materials available for purchase at the reduced positive intervention price, starting next Saturday.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Rifaat Suleiman, explained to SANA that the preparations aim to provide flexibility in choosing materials: sugar and rice at the subsidized price, sugar and sunflower oil at the price of positive intervention, and mineral water, where any material can be chosen from one or more halls as desired, with the possibility of switching the hall in any way. time, and the materials are not related to each other, indicating that the disappearance of these materials from the applications for their request is part of the preparations.
Suleiman called on citizens to re-select the hall they want to purchase materials from, indicating that the aforementioned applications can be entered from 12 noon on Friday, December 3, and request materials to start selling on Saturday.
Suleiman indicated that the automation of the distribution of materials contributed to reducing overcrowding and delivering materials to citizens in the easiest possible way, indicating that Syrian Trade is currently supplying the halls with materials to sell as soon as the new session begins.
