The Iranian delegation to the Vienna talks on the nuclear agreement stressed the priority of canceling the embargo imposed on Iran during these talks.
According to what Iranian television reported today, sources close to the delegation said, "It will not back down or give up Iran's rightful demands in front of unrealistic timetables or deadlines," stressing that the current US administration should take the initiative to cancel the embargo, as it is the party that withdrew from the nuclear agreement.
The sources pointed out that there are parties that do not want these talks to be fruitful and seek to end them early and blame the Iranian side.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced yesterday that the Iranian delegation to the Vienna negotiations will focus on lifting the US sanctions imposed on Iran and ways to achieve this, stressing that it will not undertake any commitment more than what was stated in the nuclear agreement signed in 2015.
And resumed the day before yesterday in the Austrian capital Vienna, the talks of the joint committee on the Iranian nuclear deal between Iran and the major powers, with a focus on canceling the US embargo imposed on Iran.
