Israel Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said Tuesday that "evidence" shows that people who have received the coronavirus vaccine booster are "protected" against the new omicron variant.
"We have indications that people with reinforcement are protected and there is no reason to panic," Horowitz said during a news conference at Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheba.
