The government commissioner to the Lebanese Military Court, Judge Fadi Akiki, accused the journalist, Maria Maalouf, of violating the law of boycotting the Israeli enemy and of making statements that could stir up sectarian and sectarian strife.
The Lebanese National News Agency stated that Judge Akiki referred the file with the prosecution to the Acting First Military Investigative Judge, Fadi Sawan, to conduct investigations and issue the necessary judicial notes.
This allegation came against the background of an interview conducted by an Israeli television station recently with Maalouf, who lives outside Lebanon.
