Leutkirch - At the Leutkirch weekly market and the farmers' market, a mask is again mandatory.
The city of Leutkirch has issued a general decree on this, according to a press release.
For the weekly market on Mondays and the farmers' market in the city center on the first Saturday of each month, customers, visitors, stand operators and sales staff are required to wear a face-to-face mask within the market.
The areas affected by this extend to the Markstraße, Marktplatz and parts of Kornhausstraße and Gänsbühl areas during the weekly market and to the “Marktstraße Nord” area during the farmers' market.
If the mouth and nose cover is removed when eating food and drinks, for example in the snack bar, the minimum distance to other people of 1.5 meters must be observed.
Anyone who, contrary to this general decree, does not wear a mouth and nose cover within the specified areas is acting improperly.
This can be punished with a fine of up to 250 euros.
The general decree can be found on the website of the City of Leutkirch at www.leutkirch.de/bekanntmachungen.
