A minor, arrested as part of the investigation into the off-duty policeman injured Sunday in Paris, was indicted Wednesday for attempted murder and placed in pre-trial detention, we learned from a judicial source.
The official, who was not on duty at the time of the facts, had been wounded with a stab in the Italy 2 shopping center, in the 13th arrondissement.
His function as a police officer was a priori not known to the aggressors before the brawl, according to the first elements.
The custody of a second person arrested on Tuesday was lifted, without prosecution at this stage.
According to a source close to the investigation, the latter was arrested around 12 noon Tuesday and released around 7:30 pm.
A dispute at the origin of the aggression
An official of the Department of Proximity Security of the Parisian agglomeration (DSPAP), off duty and alongside his companion, was seriously injured by a stab on Sunday, after a dispute with several people, in the Italy 2 shopping center , in the 13th arrondissement of the capital.
The prefect of police had given him “his full support” and the Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin had stressed that “all means” were “put in place to find the perpetrators of this unbearable act”.

The policeman had been taken to hospital in absolute urgency, according to a police source.
But in the evening, a second police source had indicated that his vital prognosis was no longer engaged.
