Judo Margo Pino has revealed that she was beaten by the French coach and her partner Alan Schmitt, who was supposed to join the coaching staff of the Israeli women's team

The Israeli Judo Association has delayed the arrival of French coach Alan Schmitt, who has been announced as joining the women's coaching staff under head coach Shani Hershko in the near future.

Schmitt's name was linked today (Wednesday) in an alleged violence case against the judoka and his partner Margo Pino, a former European champion and team gold medalist from the Tokyo Games.

On the night of Saturday to Sunday, I was the victim of an aggression at my home by my partner and trainer.

I was insulted, stabbed to death by poings, but I was

struck by the sun several times.

And finally strangled.

Pino posted a tweet to which she attached her photo with her face badly bruised.

"On the night between Saturday and Sunday, I was the victim of an assault in my home by my partners and coaches. I was beaten, punched, my head slammed to the floor several times and finally suffocated," Pino wrote.

Schmitt denied and the court released him because not enough evidence was presented against him.

As mentioned, the Judo Association announced yesterday that it has decided to suspend contacts with Schmitt, but this does not preclude his eventual arrival on the team.
