The Lebanese government announced that there is no intention to close the country due to the repercussions of Covid 19, and that the ministerial committee in charge of following up on preventive measures for Corona did not raise any proposal for declaring a curfew in Lebanon.
The head of the National Committee for the Corona Vaccine in Lebanon, Abdel Rahman Al-Bizri, said that the Scientific Committee for Combating Communicable Diseases held an exceptional meeting this morning at the Lebanese Ministry of Health, and it did not raise in its recommendations any proposal to declare a curfew in Lebanon, and this topic was not raised in the meeting.
Al-Bizri pointed out that hotel reservations are high during the holidays, and that the committee is in the process of studying all precautionary proposals so that the country does not close after the holidays.
Yesterday, the Lebanese Public Health recorded 9 deaths and 1,618 infections with the Corona virus.
