Tomorrow, temperatures will remain around their average, and the weather will be partly cloudy in general, with the chance of scattered local showers remaining in the morning hours, and it will be cold at night in most areas, with northwesterly winds between light and moderate.
In a statement to SANA’s delegate Benin, the weather forecaster, Kenaz Kiwan, that as a result of the area being affected by an extension of an air depression attached to a cold air mass, the wind movement has started to be active since yesterday evening, and it is expected that the wind speed activity will increase today until the evening hours, with severe gusts exceeding 80 km / h, especially in the western and central regions. And from the south, and starting from Thursday, the winds will return to stability with cold weather at night.
During the past 24 hours, a number of governorates witnessed sporadic rainfall, the highest of which was 22 mm, in Qalaat al-Hosn, Homs.
The bulletin of the rain seeding project issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform stated that precipitation rates were recorded in Quneitra Governorate, Hatra, at 2 mm.
In Homs, it was recorded in Qal'at al-Hosn 22 mm, Marmarita 19 mm, Nazareth 17 mm, Shin 8 mm, al-Aridha 7 mm, Tal Kalakh 1 mm.
In Hama, it reached 12 mm in Wadi al-Ayoun, Masyaf 11 mm, Rusafa 10 mm, Ain Halaqim 8 mm, Rabu 6 mm, and Salamiyah 5 mm.
In al-Ghab, it was recorded in Shataha 12 mm, Ain al-Krum 4 mm, al-Karim 3 mm, Tartous 17 mm, Mashta al-Helou 10 mm, Hammam Wasel 8 mm, Safita, Sheikh Badr 7 mm, Drakeish 5 mm, Safsa and Tartous 4 mm, Baniyas 3 mm, and in Lattakia governorate it was recorded in Slunfa. 11 mm, Kassab, Bahlouli 5 mm, al-Muzaira’a 4 mm, Buqa 2 mm, al-Haffah, Qardaha and Latakia 1 mm.
