The text on "conversion therapy" retouched in the Senate

The hearings revealed a concern about the tracking of transgender people, especially minors. These are "barbaric practices which still seem few in number in our country, but which are developing"  : the Senate Law Commission on Wednesday approved the bill aimed at banning "conversion therapy", while making some adjustments. Adopted by the National Assembly on October 5, the text punishes with two years' imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros "repeated practices, behaviors or statements
