Zhou Zhuohua, chairman of the Macau Suncity Group, was arrested by the Macau police on suspicion of illegally opening a casino in the Mainland.
According to Macau media news, the group confirmed last night that except for the two VIP lounges in the Galaxy Resort and StarWorld Hotel will continue to operate, the other VIP lounges will be temporarily suspended.

Suncity also clarified that no suspension of pay and retention measures have been introduced, and due to the closure of the VIP room, there will be corresponding structural adjustments later.
The three local companies held by Zhou Zhuohua fell sharply yesterday. The Suncity Group (1383) announced this morning that it would temporarily stop trading at 9 o'clock in the morning.
As for Kaisheng (0102), which operates Russia's "Crystal Tiger Palace", it opened at RMB 0.16 this morning, down 10.6%, while Sun Entertainment (8082) opened flat.
