The Macau Gaming Supervision Bureau received a notice from a gaming company yesterday (30th) to suspend cooperation with relevant gaming intermediaries and temporarily shut down Suncity’s VIP room business in Macau starting early this morning.

The Bo Supervision Bureau received a notice from a gaming company yesterday (30th) to suspend cooperation with Suncity Group and temporarily shut down Suncity’s VIP room business in Australia starting early this morning.
The Gaming Supervision Bureau stated that the relevant case has entered the judicial process and will not comment based on the principle of judicial confidentiality. The authorities will, as always, supervise the gaming industry in Macau in accordance with the law.
Gaming companies and intermediaries must abide by the law and operate legally.
Zhou Zhuohua, chairman of the Macau Suncity Group, known as "Ximi Hua", was detained, and all the casinos of the Suncity Group were suspended.
The Macao Labour Affairs Bureau expressed concern and stated that it had contacted the relevant company to understand the work arrangements of its employees and requested the company to submit information.
