At about 6 o'clock in the evening this (2nd) evening, a train bound for Kennedy Town on the MTR line flew off when it reached Causeway Bay Station.
The MTR stated that due to a train failure at Causeway Bay Station, the current train service on the Island Line is blocked. Passengers are requested to allow sufficient time for the journey.

The current Hong Kong Island Line train service needs to be adjusted:

-There will be a 4-minute shuttle bus between Tai Koo and Chai Wan Station
The MTR Corporation is arranging free shuttle buses to run on the affected road sections
