will announce his retirement next Thursday at a press conference in collaboration with the Israel Olympic Committee and the Gymnastics Association.

The 34-year-old Shtilov will summarize his career and share about his future career in the Retirement Association, as the director of the boys' instruments team and the coach of the young staff.

Shtilov is the European champion in the ground exercise and has two bronze medals from the World Championships and a gold medal in the 2014 World Cup in Tension.

He is the first Israeli gymnast to ever win a gold and silver medal at the European Championships, and the first to win a medal at the World Championships.

Shtilov competed four times in the Olympics and reached the final twice (Beijing, London).

The festive event will be attended by Yael Arad, Chairman of the Israel Olympic Committee, Avi Sagi, Chairman of the Israel Gymnastics Association, Gili Lustig, CEO of the Israel Olympic Committee, Sarit Shinar, CEO of the Israel Gymnastics Association, and Sergei Weisburg, national team coach.
