An indictment will be filed against a 30-year-old resident of Jisr a-Zarqa on suspicion of assaulting his wife and causing her to jump out of a third-floor house window.
The woman was evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera in critical condition with pelvic and leg fractures.
After receiving the report of the incident that took place about two weeks ago, the police began investigating the case.
Investigators initially suspected it was a suicide attempt, but later her husband was arrested on suspicion of causing her to jump out of her home window.
The investigation included the collection of evidence and the use of various technological means.
The husband's detention was extended from time to time and this morning a plaintiff's statement was filed against him for the charge attributed to him.
