The clock tower with colonial architectural design is one of the landmarks of Tsim Sha Tsui. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department stated on its Facebook page that in 1921, the clock tower was still part of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Station. The clock tower was listed as a legal monument in 1990.

The clock tower was still part of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Station in 1921, and the bell began to ring the same year.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department pointed out that after the clock tower was completed in 1915, the bronze bell was installed six years later, so the clock tower before 1921 did not ring.

In 1950, the four-sided clock was changed to be driven by different motors, so that the time displayed was different, and the bronze clock that was originally used to tell the time had to stop operating.

At present, the bronze bell is placed at the bottom of the bell tower and placed on a stack of railway sleepers.

The agency revealed that it will ring the bell at the clock tower again at 6 pm on the 9th of this month. This will be the bell ringing again in 71 years.

Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower now displays giant rabbit lanterns of the "low-headed tribe" with hundreds of citizens to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival night. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department sets up a story house workshop. The completed works will be displayed on the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower.
