Cherbourg: two policewomen injured by a man armed with a saber

Two policewomen were slightly injured in the face this Thursday, December 2 by a 36-year-old man armed with a saber, who had just stolen a car in Cherbourg (Manche) before being neutralized by a third police officer, the prosecution told AFP.

Thursday around 3:45 p.m., the man, who had just stolen a Citroën C3 by threatening the driver with his saber, lost control of the vehicle, near a service station in Tourlaville, a former town attached to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin .
