Cross-border podium canceled - Tegernseer Tal transport forum will not take place until spring

The Tegernseer Verkehrsforum, which was on the program in the Seeforum on Thursday as an online event, has now been completely canceled.

There's a new attempt in spring.

- As the host and mayor Christian Köck explained at the Rottach municipal council meeting, the hybrid event was abandoned at short notice and it was postponed to spring 2022.

Then - if possible and as originally planned - as a face-to-face event, at least for the podium.

Solve traffic problems across borders

The concept with well-known guests from politics, practice and teaching - such as Bavaria's Transport Minister Kerstin Schreyer and representatives from Tyrol and the Bavarian Alpine foothills - who want to work together on matters of transport development is good, said Köck.

It is hoped that together we will be able to improve the tense traffic situation in the Alpine border regions.

Köck: "The traffic problem can only be solved side by side, cross-border and supraregional in partnership."
