Dan Shamir, the Israeli coach of the New Zealand Breakers from the Australian League, is positive about the Corona virus and will miss the start of his team's season this weekend.
In addition to Shamir, some of the team's players have also been infected with the virus and are in isolation, as well as one of the club's owners.
According to reports in Australia, the coach is expected to come out of isolation over the next week.
The one who will stand on the lines instead of Shamir is his Israeli assistant Modi Maor, who said: "We did not expect it, but Dan feels better every day and we are waiting for him to return."
