During the past week, the technical workshops of the Hama General Electricity Company conducted maintenance work for a number of electrical transmission stations with a capacity of 66/20 kV in Masyaf, Cement, West Hama and Ain al-Lawzeh, to cope with large loads and reduce emergency disconnections.
The company’s general manager, Ahmed Al-Youssef, indicated to SANA reporter that the works included equipping automatic 20 kV circuit breakers in Masyaf substation, repairing and maintaining automatic 20 kV circuit breakers for 20 kV cells, for the need for cement transfer stations in Hama, west of Ain al-Lawzeh, and maintenance of the 20 kV cutter with the installation of boxes. A termination on the earthing transformer at Ain El-Loza substation and the re-transformer 20/66 kV for service.
He explained that the workshops carried out maintenance work for the switching centers in various regions of the governorate, which included the maintenance of the low-voltage panel in the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab transfer center, the repair of low-voltage circuit breakers with a capacity of 1250 amps, number 3, and the replacement of low-voltage circuit breakers instead of burned ones in Ma'ar al-Jabal transformation center with a capacity of 800 amps.
He pointed out that 3 transformers were also installed instead of burnt-out transformers, each with a capacity of 400 kVA, in the authentic villages of Khattab Shayzar, in addition to the installation of a transformer with a capacity of 630 kVA in the town of Al-Sura, and the construction and investment of a transfer center with a capacity of 1000 kVA In the Hamidiya neighborhood of Hama city, in addition to repairing all electrical faults on low voltage networks by the emergency offices in the governorate.
