Michael Lewis has never hidden his firm and sometimes very unpopular or easily digestible views when it comes to the situation in the country and the way those in charge elect to the board.
More than once he also shares his hundreds of thousands of followers on social media in stormy critical posts.
In a question and answer session held today (Thursday) the star, he was asked what he thinks about the murder of the late Little Yael Melnik and in general what he thinks about everything that has happened lately, and he did not spare harsh criticism against the state and its leaders.
"The State of Israel is a hotbed for criminals," Lewis began the post with a harsh and poignant statement.
"Once a prime minister goes to jail, a president goes to jail, a minister in a government goes to jail and goes back to the same position, you realize something here stinks," he continued.
"We have a great country but the shit of a country. There is no deterrence, no punishment. The justice system here is corrupt and the laws from the days of the Mandate. Because there is no real education and everything is based on interests and money, then there is no place for honor, and when there is no place for honor there is no deterrence.
