The writer Gibran Khalil Gibran summarized in his book (The Prophet) his vision of life and his experiences, and he tried to answer the most important questions that haunt the human soul since the beginning of creation, to record an intellectual revolution through him as one of the most important Arab writers throughout the ages.
Because of the importance of the book, the Syrian General Book Organization at the Ministry of Culture, within the series (The Fruits of Minds), chose its most important contents to issue it in a new style with an author titled (The Chosen Ones from the Book of the Prophet) by Gibran Khalil Gibran prepared by Dr. Muhannad Samir Bayazid.
On the cover of the book, which is located in 95 pages of medium size, we read: “In the Prophet, Gibran seeks his quest to dispel the sorrows that ran through the hearts, to break the chains that bind bruised souls, and to resurrect the human soul with its radiance and radiance, all in a veil of inked language, dripping with sedition and magic.”
In the book, we are accompanied by Al-Mustafa, the personality of the Prophet that Gibran created to be the hero of his book, which engages in a deep dialectical philosophical dialogue with many personalities who ask him about the most important existential meanings.
In the book, we stop at the Prophet Gibran’s vision of the most important existential issues. Love is the foundation upon which the world is built, the path, the goal, and marriage does not mean that the two spouses be one, but rather each one of them is unique in himself and does not dominate the other.
As for the sons, they are not the property of their fathers according to the book (the Prophet), they are the future, the present and the past, and the true giving is that you never wait for the return, and the work is not misery, but rather an imitation of the constantly moving nature of life. Fun and not the other way around.
And pain according to the Prophet Gibran is the key to the truth, as it breaks the shell that envelops the minds, and the purpose of friendship should only be an increase in the depth of the human soul, and life knows no boundaries of time.
Gibran answers in his book the Prophet about the greatest secret, which is life and death, and he said: “If you want to understand death, open your hearts to life, and understand your selves and what is within your souls, in order to understand life. Its creator is without restriction or hindrance.”
It remains to mention that the book of the Prophet that Gibran wrote in English was later translated into more than fifty languages of the earth. .
