The Russian Federal Security Service has revealed that it has prevented the implementation of subversive espionage activities by the Ukrainian intelligence in three regions of Russia.
The press office of the security service said in a statement today, carried by the RIA Novosti agency, "Russian intelligence agents managed to arrest Zinovii Kovil and his son Igor, who are agents of the Ukrainian security, as well as the agent of the General Intelligence Department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Alexander Tsylik," noting that the security found weapons in Kovel's car, in addition to equipment. for personal protection.
The statement pointed out that the detainees Zinovi and Igor Koval admitted that they were recruited in the Ukrainian Ternopil province and assigned to collect information about Russian strategic facilities in exchange for a reward of ten thousand dollars.
