The Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghobash, opened today the new doctors’ housing and the two intensive care and orthopedic departments after their rehabilitation in Al-Assad Hospital in Deir ez-Zor.
Minister Al-Ghubash was briefed during his tour in Deir ez-Zor about the needs of the departments of the General Authority of Al-Assad Hospital and the readiness of the ambulance system in the governorate in general, which was recently equipped with three new cars.
Minister Al-Ghubash also inspected the health institute, whose construction, training halls, and solar energy system were rehabilitated, in addition to the public health laboratory, which is currently being rehabilitated and contains qualitative equipment, including those for Corona patients, and an oxygen generation station that was put into service, in addition to his briefing on the Hamidiya Medical Center and a hospital. Pediatrics and obstetrics.
In a statement to reporters, Minister Al-Ghubash explained that the Ministry of Health is keen to follow up and support the health sector in Deir ez-Zor governorate, which has suffered a lot of damage as a result of terrorist attacks, noting that the ministry provided the governorate with 350 dialysis sessions, 3 ambulances, a number of equipment, a cardiac monitoring unit, and Echo devices. And sterilization, colonoscopy, and a portable x-ray machine with a CR reader, and it works to provide it with the necessary medical staff, equipment and medicines.
