The same lady in a change of coat: Maccabi Haifa manages even without Rokavica Israel today

2021-12-02T10:19:13.443Z

Barak Bachar's team scored 21 goals in ten games - the same amount as in the Australian striker's period last season.

Maccabi Haifa is the best attacking team in the Premier League, with 21 goals in ten games since the beginning of the 2021/22 season.

However, the team's pioneers scored only three of the total goals, and it is no coincidence that Dean David, Goodswe Donio and Ben Shehar have difficulty scoring a goal in Barak Bachar's squad.

David's average in the squad stands at 55 minutes since the start of the season.

Some of the time he played on the wing, and overall he scored twice.

Donio's average is lower, with 46 minutes per game and an output of one goal, and Shahar with a very low average of only 23 minutes.

"Our pioneers will still conquer a lot this season," Bachar clarified at the press conference, ahead of tonight's Haifa derby with Sami Ofer.

"For me there is an attacking game, it is not right to isolate the strikers."

The criticism - sometimes justified, it should be noted - compares the attack to last season, at the end of which the Greens won the championship. But then, after ten games, the green offense had exactly 21 goals - like this season. Even at that point in time she was the best offense in the league. Last year she had a dominant striker, Nikita Rokavica, who scored no less than 11 times up to that round. "Comparisons will always be made, but there is the bottom line," the club said. "At the beginning of the season, when Rokavica left, we knew the goals would be shared by more players. It's completely natural, everything was taken into account." However, they admitted in Haifa that they thought "the pioneers will conquer more, but it is not certain that in Rokavica's numbers."

After David scored in the last round against Hapoel Tel Aviv, Bachar tends to give him the team shirt in the derby against Hapoel Haifa as well. Behind him will play the man who brought the most numbers this season, Omar Atzili (seven league goals and 13 in all competitions). In the center of the field, with three of the four starting at 11: Jose Rodriguez, Muhammad Abu Fani, Ali Muhammad and Charon Shari.

On the other hand, Hapoel Haifa will be missing the king of its goals, the injured Alon Turgeman, and the young Boganim will play with me in his place.

The brake tried Capiloto is sick, and chances are he too will be absent from Elisha Levy's squad.

If so, Ben Wahba will fill his place in the center of defense.

Levy will not continue with a set of three brakes, after failing in the last game against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

"Maccabi Haifa is in the best shape in the league, probably in front of its audience," the coach said ahead of the derby.

"She is very trained, but we are a good team too. We will have to show it."
