Zhang Jianzong has another new trend to become a visiting professor at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong from the Ming Dynasty.

Former Secretary for Home Affairs Zhang Jianzong has a new trend, starting tomorrow (3rd) as a visiting professor in the School of Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong.

The former Chief Executive and Politically Appointed Officials' Post-Employment Work Advisory Committee believes that Zhang Jianzong's proposed appointment after his resignation will not constitute any potential conflict of interest, provided that Zhang Jianzong complies with certain restrictions recommended by the committee.

The Advisory Committee also does not expect that the appointment will arouse negative public perception.

The 71-year-old Zhang Jianzong will serve as a visiting professor at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong.

The Advisory Committee agrees that Zhang Jianzong’s appointment of the relevant position will not harm or weaken the performance of the government in performing its functions, nor will it give reasonable grounds to believe, concern or induce public perceptions that it may harm or weaken the performance of the government’s functions.

The committee also pointed out that Zhang Jianzong should not express in his lectures or any other activities related to the proposed appointment in his lectures or any other activities related to the proposed appointment that any content that may embarrass the government related to his role as Chief Secretary for Administration should not be used or Communicate or disclose to any person any information or confidential information that is exempt from the protection of the disclosure privilege, or any information that is known to the public while serving as the Chief Secretary for Administration and that is not already available to the public.
