(ANSA) - ROME, 03 DEC - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, met today, on the occasion of the Rome-Med Dialogues, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, GordanGrlić Radman.
The ministers, the Farnesina said in a note, took stock of bilateral relations - including an exchange on the respective measures adopted to prevent COVID infections - also in view of the next meeting of the Coordination Committee of ministers between Italy and Croatia.
The opportunities offered by the Trilateral Cooperation, an operational forum in which Slovenia also participates, were then examined in terms of development of the Upper Adriatic as a pole of economic growth.
The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and, more generally, the latest developments in the western Balconies, a region that Italy strongly supports in the process of joining the European Union, was also discussed with the Croatian minister.
