(ANSA) - ROME, 03 DEC - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, met today, on the occasion of the Rome-Med Dialogues, the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva.
The ministers, the Farnesina said in a note, agreed on the need to maintain close coordination on the European plan in view of the reforms of the Stability Pact and the achievement of the energy transition and climate neutrality objectives. Both focused on the opportunities for Italian companies to invest in Portugal, particularly in the sectors of new technologies and renewable energy, thanks also to the resources made available by the respective National Recovery and Resilience Plans.
Finally, Ministers Di Maio and Santos Silva discussed the common commitment in Africa, in particular in the European Union Training Mission in Mozambique.
