(ANSA) - ROME, 03 DEC - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, met today, on the occasion of the Rome-Med Dialogues, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Anže Logar.
With his Slovenian colleague, according to a note from the Farnesina, DiMaio retraced the numerous stages that contributed to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, evoking the Slovenian organization of the next Committee for Coordination of Ministers in the first part of 2022.
During the meeting, discussions were held opportunities deriving from trilateral cooperation in the Upper Adriatic, in particular with regard to connectivity and environmental protection, issues that Minister Di Maio also addressed in today's interview with his Croatian counterpart.
With regard to the pandemic situation, Di Maio offered full solidarity to Minister Logar, confirming aid and medical assistance from the Italian government to deal with the emergency.
