Her ex-husband and father of their two children, Khalid, 51, is in jail and charged with aggravated murder.
He had been released from prison nine days earlier.
He had been convicted of violence and was prohibited from approaching his ex-partner.
He had defied the ban for the first time, in October, which had resulted in his re-incarceration for two months.
The victim, provided by the justice system with a serious danger phone since July, believed her former partner was detained until December 8.
Her family had even considered sending her to Morocco on December 7, the family's country of origin.
