After the first round of nuclear talks ended, the prime minister issued a firm message: "Iran is asked to be put in place, the West has the tools to do so. It must not succumb to blackmail."
On the other hand, the defense minister sent a conciliatory message: "We share common values with the United States, we have no better ally than her."

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett today (Friday) addressed the nuclear talks, at the end of the first round of talks, and issued a firm message: "I told our friend that Iran is carrying out nuclear blackmail, and we must not give in to it."
"Iran is violating all the rules and already in April this year began to enrich uranium at a very high level of 60%," the prime minister added.
"The obvious thing is to put her in place, and the West certainly has the tools to do that, certainly not to give her more and more benefits in order for her to stop - that's not how bullying is dealt with."
Bennett added that "in the face of such forceful moves, we must act decisively and swiftly by economic, political and other means to make it clear that we will not tolerate this. We will not rest or be silent in order to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear bomb."

On the other hand, Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, who will visit the United States next week, sent a conciliatory message and wrote that "I am sure that the United States is committed to its promise that Iran will not have nuclear weapons - this is a global, regional and Israeli interest."
"The United States and Israel share common values and interests - this is how it will be and will continue to be so," the defense minister wrote. The military, intelligence and security are deepening. "
