India recorded 9,216 new infections and 391 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, a day after the first two cases of the Omicron mutant were recorded in the country.
According to the latest statistics of the World Meters website, the total number of infections with the Corona virus in India reached 34 million and 615,757 cases, and the total deaths were 470,115 cases.
India still ranks second in the world after the United States in terms of the number of HIV infections and third after the United States and Brazil in terms of the number of related deaths.
In China, the National Health Committee announced the registration of 96 new confirmed infections yesterday, up from 73 the day before, noting that 80 of the new infections were local.
Thus, the total number of injuries in China reached 98,993, while deaths are still at 4,636 cases.
