(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 03 - "I don't believe any of Bennett's declarations when it comes to Palestine. Israeli projects on our territory are only postponed". This was stated by the Foreign Minister of Palestine, Riyad Al Malki, speaking at the seventh edition of the Med Dialogues, organized in Rome by the Farnesina and Ispi and running until tomorrow.
"The government of Israel is different from before, but only in regards to the people, not in politics. I would say that it is worse," continued the minister. "Bennett is the leader of a small party, feels in competition with Netanyahu, believes that he has overshadowed him and therefore has to prove to himself that he is worse when it comes to the Palestinians."
"Israel has already shown that the Palestinian question is not a priority. When Israel expands settlements it means annexation, when construction of new settlements begins, it means annexation. Who can guarantee me that next year there will be no more confiscated territories," added Al Malki.
