Two men were shot and wounded Thursday evening in Paris by a gunman who fled on foot and one of them, seriously injured in the head, has a vital prognosis, AFP learned on Friday (December 3rd) from police sources.

The two victims, aged 21 and 22, were preparing to walk back to their car, shortly before midnight in the 19th arrondissement (north-east), when a man shot them, according to one of these sources.
The 22-year-old man was shot in the right eye and taken to hospital with a life-threatening prognosis.
The second was less seriously injured, knee and foot, while trying to flee his attacker.
A total of five cartridge cases and a 9mm caliber bullet were found on site.
An investigation for attempted homicide was opened and entrusted to the 2nd district of the Paris judicial police (2nd DPJ).
