Prime Minister Bennett today (Friday) commented on his Facebook account about the storm caused by the family vacation of his wife Gilat and his four children, who flew abroad, although a few days earlier he recommended avoiding flights, which caused many people to cancel the long-awaited vacation.
In a Facebook post he wrote: "First, I am open to criticism, and in this case I also accept it. Not every criticism is a personal attack, and not every decision of ours is perfect."

He defended his wife, writing: "It is important to me that you know something about Gilat - she is the most charming and kind-hearted person I know, and like many parents she and we both have a desire to make our children as happy and relieved as possible, especially in light of a simple year. "Gilat is a woman who knows how to manage herself and our family."
He added: "As you have seen, we conducted ourselves on this issue with complete transparency. We announced on our own initiative about the trip and all the rules that apply to every other family will also apply to my family members. From the field - to isolation."
He signed a wish for all the vacationers who will return in peace and complete health.
As you may recall, last Wednesday it was reported that the prime minister's wife and children had taken off for a family vacation abroad.
The Bennett family planned to fly to Mauritius and canceled after becoming a red state.
They were heavily criticized for the decision, especially after the Prime Minister's recommendation to cancel flights abroad.
