End of the day for the sale of RATP furniture, this Friday morning.
For a week, the agency had auctioned 215 pieces of its furniture: ceramic tiles, signs or even metro doors.
The auctions took place online on the Maison Drouot website.
For this great first, all the lots have been sold and more than 1,780 people have registered.
"It's a real success," says Jean Rouzaud, director of the RATP equipment maintenance department, who initiated this sale with his teams.
We are very surprised that all the lots are gone.
We started with a great unknown, as it was the first edition, and the result is far beyond our expectations.

A turnstile gone to 1200 euros
Because enthusiasts or collectors have not been afraid to put their hand in the wallet.
It was the Metropolitan Guimard-style enamel plaque that appealed the most, as it came off at 10,200 euros for a starting price of 400 euros.
Another item sold: the name of the Louvre-Rivoli station, sold for 4,100 euros.
"There is inevitably an attraction for the beautiful iconic pieces of the Paris metro", comments the director of equipment.
But lots more surprising - and cumbersome - have also found buyers, such as a turnstile which sold for 1200 euros or a painted cast iron metro mast for 2500 euros.
A buyer has even set his sights on a metro facade for 2,050 euros.
The painted cast iron Metro mast was sold for 2,500 euros.

A large part of the profits from the sale, no less than 171,000 euros, will be donated to the Social Compendium, an antenna which reaches out to homeless people in the network to help them find accommodation solutions or to eat.
“It was obvious to us that the proceeds from this sale would be donated to a social and solidarity work.
Especially during the winter and when the holidays are approaching, ”says Jean Rouzaud.
