Did he have a date with the person or people who shot him?
Is this a bad meeting?
A discussion that went wrong?
So many questions on which the investigators of the criminal brigade and the Melun branch of the Regional Directorate of the Judicial Police of Versailles have been looking into since Thursday evening.
At around 11:30 p.m., a 29-year-old man was killed by at least one bullet in the head, not far from the RER D station, in Cesson, in the Jonquilles district.
A witness reportedly saw two men flee on foot shortly after.
The victim, named Joey, was domiciled in the neighboring town of Savigny-le-Temple.
He was known to the police.
At this stage of the investigation, the hypothesis of a settling of accounts therefore seems to be favored.
Two men were seen running away
It was a local resident who sounded the alert on Thursday evening.
While at home, he heard two detonations.
He then left his home and discovered, not far from a footbridge near the station, a man lying on the ground, unconscious.
He also saw two men leave on foot.
He immediately sounded the alarm.
The police, as well as the firefighters and the Smur, arrived on site, joined shortly after by the deputy prosecutor on duty at the Melun prosecutor's office.
The victim was visibly hit in the head.
Despite attempts by the emergency services to revive her, she died on the spot.
An autopsy was ordered by the Melun prosecutor's office.
In particular, it will make it possible to know whether the man has been hit by one or more bullets.
A bullet case was found near the victim's body, but no weapons were found.
For the moment, there have been no arrests.
Already several deadly settlements in 2021
If the track of the settlement of accounts is confirmed, it will be the fourth fatal to occur in 2021 in Seine-et-Marne. The most recent took place in Varreddes in early October. A 31-year-old man, who was under an electronic bracelet, had been shot several times as he left his building. The investigation had been entrusted to the gendarmes of the Paris research section.
In mid-September, a 28-year-old man, also known to the courts, was shot dead in the back in Torcy, in the middle of the street and near a school.
The Regional Directorate of the Judicial Police (DRPJ) of Versailles, had been seized of the investigation.
Finally, at the end of April, a 27-year-old man was shot dead and another seriously injured with a handgun in Noisiel, in the White City.
The two authors of the shots, perched on a scooter, had fled.
