The Ministry of Health announced today (Friday) that the number verified for the Omicron variant in Israel has increased to seven.
Four of the new verified vertebrae are unvaccinated, all returning from South Africa.
There are also suspicions of another 27 cases of exposure to the Omicron variant for which the flooring results have not yet been obtained.
Of these, 22 are unprotected - that is, these are cases of unvaccinated, recovering who have passed half a year since their recovery and are vaccinated in a second dose that has passed half a year from the date of vaccination.
In addition, there are five other cases of exposure to verified variants of the vaccinated.
In addition to these, there are 14 other cases, which are defined as "low suspicion".
