Guest of BFM Business this Friday, the Minister of Ecological Transition Barbara Pompili was questioned on maintaining the cap on the price of electricity at 4% in early 2022.
"Whatever happens, the State will protect"

The cost of such tariff protection could turn out to be two to three times higher than the envelope initially planned by the government.
When the measure was announced in September, the government estimated it at 4 billion euros in the form of tax cuts.

Today, experts estimate that its cost should eventually reach 12 billion euros, a figure equivalent to the annual budget of the Ministry of Justice.
