The suspect, identified by the authorities as Damián Lescano Mendoza, was detained by security agents for the alleged crime of femicide.
During the raid on his home, four cell phones and women's underwear were seized.
As confirmed by CNN with the Police, Lescano Mendoza still does not have an assigned lawyer.
The authorities are investigating whether there was any kind of link between the victim and the detainee.
According to documents from the Ministry of Security of the province of Buenos Aires, in 2009 the man had been sentenced to 3 years and three months in prison for the crime of simple homicide.
