Transport in Greater Paris: the disruptions of the weekend of December 4 and 5

No major penalizing work to be expected this weekend on the Ile-de-France transport networks. Several nightly closures are cep


RER C.

Maintenance work continues on line C and requires advanced train service interruptions in the evening.

So this Sunday, on the southern branch, traffic will be interrupted from 9:10 p.m. between Invalides and Dourdan in Essonne and from 10 p.m. towards Etampes.

The canceled trains are replaced by buses.

On the western branch, line C trains will not run between Saint-Quentin en Yvelines and Viroflay-Rive Gauche in Yvelines throughout the weekend.

This section is served by line N.

RER D.

Terminus at Stade-de-France in Seine-Saint-Denis on Saturday and Sunday on line D. Traffic to Creil is interrupted all weekend.

A substitute bus service is in place.

The frequency of trains will be reduced on the “central” section between Gare de Lyon and Stade de France as well as to the south of the line to Melun, via Combs-la-Ville (Seine-et-Marne).

RER E.

No "nocturnes" on Eole this weekend.

Saturday and Sunday, the last train from Saint-Lazare will leave at 10:15 p.m. towards Tournan and at 10:30 p.m. towards Chelles-Gournay (Seine-et-Marne).

Transilien

Line P.

Be careful not to miss the last train from Paris-est.

Rail traffic will be interrupted from 11 p.m., Saturday, towards Château-Thierry, from 10.45 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, towards Meaux and from 11.30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, towards Coulommiers (Seine-et -Marl).

The canceled trains are replaced by substitute buses, with service to intermediate stations… and an extension of the journey time from 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the destination.

Metro

Line 4.

The modernization and automation work on line 4 is continuing and will involve slightly more significant modifications than in the past weeks, this weekend.

Exceptionally, the line will remain closed all day Sunday, and not only in the morning as was the case on previous weekends.

Tram

T1.

Due to works, the circulation of T1 trainsets will be interrupted between the Saint-Denis gare and Mairie de Villeneuve-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine) stations, this Sunday from 10 p.m. until the end of the service.

Routes

Demonstration between Barbès and La Villette.

Slowdowns to be expected on Sunday afternoon on the boulevards in the northeast of the capital.
