Freising
- The spread of the new Corona variant B.1.1.529 ("Omikron") in South Africa has caused international concern. The WHO has classified the variant as a variant of concern (VOC). The states of South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe are considered virus variant areas because of the omicron variant found there.
People who have
been entering Bavaria by land since November 28
and have been in one of these virus variant areas at any time in the past ten days prior to entry are required
to take a PCR test upon entry or immediately after entry
.
The test result
must be submitted to the district administrative authority responsible
for your place of residence or other place of residence
no later than 48 hours
after entry
.
In the Freising district, the result can be sent by email to
einreise@kreis-fs.de
, the district authority has now announced.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
