The bodies of a woman and a man were recovered and three men were rescued after the capsize, due to "

Last Saturday, the Greek government opened new camps for migrants, on Kos and the neighboring island of Leros, amid fears of a new wave of migration due to the crisis in Afghanistan. These camps are closed with barbed wire fences, equipped with surveillance cameras, X-ray scanners and magnetic doors that are closed at night. They also have running water, toilets and better security - things that were missing from previous installations.
The European Union has donated 276 million euros for the camps.
NGOs and humanitarian organizations have expressed concerns about these new camps, believing that the movement of people should not be hampered.
According to the latest UN estimates, some 96,000 refugees and asylum seekers are currently in Greece.
